What are AI Lead Gen Apps?
AI apps are published versions of your flows. You design a workflow on the canvas, mark relevant Text/File nodes as inputs, and publish it as an app. Then:
- You can share a link or embed the app on any modern CMS (WordPress, Webflow, Drupal, Magento, Squarespace, Shopify, custom sites) via a simple iframe
- Visitors run the app without an AI Flow Chat account; runs are billed to your account
- You can place a paywall around access using your site’s tools (Stripe, Memberstack, LemonSqueezy, etc.)
Visitors fill the inputs, run the app, and receive value (audit, strategy, email draft), while you capture structured lead data.
Examples of what these apps can do:
- Offer instant value: free website audits, content plans, checklists
- Qualify leads: score fit, identify segment/persona, suggest next steps
- Personalize outreach: generate cold emails, landing page copy, or follow-ups
- Enrich and research: fetch website content to tailor outputs
Complete Lead Generation App Workflows
Transcription
Hi, my name is Alex,
and I’m going to show you how you can use AI Flow Chat to create AI apps you can embed on your website to drive traffic and deliver value to your customers.
Overview
On the screen, you can see a flow I’ve already created.
Here’s how it works:
- Scraper – You provide a website URL. It reads the HTML of that page.
- AI Analysis – The HTML is passed into an AI model, which extracts relevant information and provides suggestions for improvement.
- Output – The AI generates technical SEO recommendations.
Example Flow
In this example, the AI analyzes a given website and outputs SEO improvement tips.
I’ve prepared a demo page using v0 (a no-code app builder, similar to Lovable or Bold).
You probably already have your own website, but for demonstration purposes, I created one with a placeholder section where our embedded app will go.
Setting Up the App in AI Flow Chat
-
Define Inputs & Outputs
- Set the URL field as the input note.
- Set the analysis as the output note.
-
Publish the App
- Click Publish in the upper right corner.
- Select the entry play note (only one in this case).
- Configure user fields—here, the user will have:
- One input field (URL)
- One output field (results)
-
Preview
- Check how it looks: one URL input field with a preview output area.
-
Deploy
- Click Deploy—the app is now live in AI Flow Chat.
Embedding the App on Your Website
-
Go back to the flow in AI Flow Chat.
-
Enable Embed on Other Websites.
-
Get the embed code and configure appearance:
- Remove header
- Remove output preview (for a clean look)
- Keep only the input field and run button
-
Copy the embed code and paste it into your website’s CMS (e.g., WordPress).
-
Save changes and refresh your site—your embedded app should now be visible.
How It Works for the End User
- Visitors enter a URL into the app on your website.
- They click Run.
- Behind the scenes, the AI runs the analysis and returns results (without showing your internal flow).
- Example: The app detects SEO issues on CNN and suggests possible improvements.
I hope this was helpful.
